Renewables

At Greener for Life, we own and operate an Anaerobic Digestion plants. This is able to take organic wastes from food waste, Farm yard manures, crop waste along with silage. We do this as part of a whole farm approach where food is produced to feed the nation, alongside crops and wastes from the whole chain cycle.

In doing so, we produce renewable electricity, renewable natural gas and renewable vehicle fuel. We can now also capture the CO2 from the process to produce carbon which is blended with the bi -product from the digestion process to produce a rich renewable fertiliser, high in carbon and avoids the use of artificial fertiliser.

The end result is a near zero carbon renewable fuel that can power tractors, HGVs, and heat our homes. The bi product returns carbon and nutrients to the soils, helping to produce food and energy whilst having minimal impact on climate change and biodiversity.
